About Us
Becker Electronics Taiwan Ltd. is a private owned company founded in 1973 at Taipei Taiwan by Mr. Roland Becker.
The original business was for the subassembly of car radio products which was consigned by Becker Autoradio GmbH (in Germany) – a famous and recognized as a leading in car radio technology and the symbol of quality.
Beginning of 2003, Becker Taiwan Established an avionics R/D center in the site of Chung San Institute of Science and Technology (CSIST), sponsored by the funding of Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) and technically supported by CSIST, the R & D Center is in proximity of testing facilities; EMC Lab, antenna Lab. Mechanical & climate test apparatus and environments. Besides the Avionics Products development, R & D center is setting up the Avionics Certification activities.
For years running, we have 21 experienced engineers in R/D center, we have Airborne Computer; Personal Locator beacon; FMCW Radar (military product) coming out as an industrialized products already. Recently we are continuing the cooperation with CSIST in the extending project of airborne computer; PLB, and FMCW…etc.
Our Goal
Becker Taiwan is to develop, certify, & manufacturing the product of Avionics, Marine and SAR products, the assembly is consigned to local manufacturer, but the final product assembly and tests are strictly carried out by Becker Taiwan as the Quality Assurance is of highest importance.
